Homes have been destroyed and now people are sleeping in playgrounds, school halls and other public places. Shops have been destroyed too.
I hope that they are safe and that the kids from school are safe too. God bless you Christchurch our love goes out to you.
On Tuesday 22nd February I was watching the news when they said that there had been an Earthquake in Christchurch. It had damaged lots of buildings. There were people running around and crying because their family and friends were trapped in the buildings. It is so sad because some people were killed when the buildings collapsed.
